This year’s ABO meeting was held July 21-25 in Bermuda. Board certified attendants from across the country examined how best to integrate industry technology into daily operations at their practices. Thought-provoking speeches addressing topics such as 3-D airway measurements, biology’s role in orthodontia, and the impact of technology in soft tissue treatment were given by select Diplomats.
The ABO grants Diplomat status exclusively to outstanding practitioners who excel in orthodontic treatment. As the oldest specialty board in dentistry, they encourage excellence in clinical practice and a proficiency in advanced orthodontics. Certification with the ABO is highly sought after. Years of administering exceptional orthodontic treatment and the completion of a stringent written examination are required to receive ABO certification.
